Milk their imagination and win!
It’s the Year of Food and Farming and to celebrate
Robert Wiseman Dairies are running a curriculum-linked competition to get school
children excited and talking about healthy food.
The competition will run on our 200ml cartons of freshnlo milk from
28th April - look out for cartons in your school. There are wonderful
farm visits to be won and the chance for pupils to let their
imagination run wild.
We’re looking for stories, poems and pictures from your class based on their
favourite foods and what kind of superhero it could
turn them into – calcium found in milk helps make bones strong giving super
strength powers to help save the day, beta-carotene in carrots helps create amazing
see-in-the-dark powers… the opportunities are endless. Entries will be judged
on creativity so let their imaginations run wild!
The winning entries will have a chance to win a fully funded farm visit for their
class so they can find out about healthy food at first hand; the Year of Food and
Farming and RHET / FACE
has agreed to organise and coordinate these visits on our behalf. So how many superheroes
can your school produce?
