Year of Food and Farming

East Midlands

The Year of Food and Farming is a campaign to promote healthy living by giving young people direct experience of countryside, farming and food. Register now to feature on the Megamap, which will build up a picture of all the exciting things that are happening around the region for the Year of Food and Farming, including all the schools planning to take part.

The East Midlands Year of Food and Farming in Education is generously supported by EMDA and other Partners to ensure the maximum amount of quality activities are treasured by children and adults both in and out of the classroom. Are you a teacher who would like help planning an activity? Would you like to visit a farm, attend an event or invite a farmer to your school? Do you work on a farm or in a rural business and would like to get involved? Please contact us for more information.
