The premier college for the land and environment in Devon, meeting the education and training needs of diverse rural businesses, communities and individuals. Bicton College offers a range of courses to prepare students for careers in land-based and related outdoor pursuits industries. Friendly and experienced teaching staff provide a quality environment for learning.

With provision for over 750 full time places, the College halls of residence house 235 students, and a daily bus service is provided from Exeter and East Devon for local students.

The College has both a national and international reputation for providing students with the opportunity, through full and part-time study, to develop the personal skills and qualities which are essential to meet the needs of employers in the industries we serve.

A range of courses are offered in: countryside and environment, animal care, agriculture and engineering, equine studies, floristry, veterinary nursing, working with children, horticulture and outdoor leisure. Try our A level alternative - vocational National Diplomas, study a subject you are interested in and still progress to a degree.

Sporting facilities at Bicton include: rugby, football and hockey pitches; netball and tennis courts, a high ropes course, indoor climbing wall and five acre lake for water sports. Most Wednesday afternoons, the College rugby, football, netball and hockey teams compete against local sides or other land-based colleges.

The College holds Course Advice sessions on Saturdays once a month and most Wednesday afternoons for prospective students to come along, meet the tutors, tour the campus and find out about courses on offer.
