THE healthy eating SHOW
Dear Head-teacher or PSHE Coordinator,
? 33,000 Primary and Infant school children from Edinburgh to Truro have now seen the healthy schools show that has become the talk of the playground.
? We are one of only a handful of theatre groups to be accredited by the 'Health Promoting Schools' campaign.
? During 2007 we have worked in association with Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire County Councils as well as the NHS in Hartlepool in promoting healthier eating in Schools.
‘The show was fantastic – special effects etc were very clever. The children were engrossed and involved and it led to lots of discussion later on back in class
Phase Leader – Gusford Primary School – Suffolk
We aim to:
Re-address the balance between the vast amount of money spent marketing sweets, crisps and junk foods and their poor cousins the fruit and vegetables, by making vegetables exciting, colourful, fun and most of all desirable.
To increase the take up of the new, healthier, school dinners, by encouraging children to re-think their preconceptions around different foods.
Our show rate is £300 for one performance or £399 for two performances at the same venue on the same day (should the school be large or hall small). This rate is fully inclusive and includes a flier for each child to take home. It usually works out at between £1 - £2 per child
‘This was far and away the best Schools show I have seen in 30 years of teaching…Excellent’ Jan Butlers – Teacher – Briar Hill Primary School – Northants
‘Very funny and very educational. All the children loved it (as did the adults). Excellent! Kieran Walsh – Teacher – St Francis C of E – Falmouth
We will be in the Lincolnshire region from 19th – 30th November and would welcome your enquiry.
Warmest Regards
Simon Bamford
