East Midlands

East Midlands Year of Food, Farming and Education is generously supported by East Midlands Development Agency (emda) and other Partners to ensure the maximum amount of quality activities are treasured by children and adults alike.

88% of the land area in our region is rural and we have a diverse range of agricultural, horticultural and processing businesses and places offering a variety of opportunities for learning and fun. The centres of our vibrant Cities are never far away from an interesting rural location and beautiful landscape.

Our counties include Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Northampton and Rutland.

We offer advice and resourses for people wanting to get involved with the Year and also promote and celebrate the great work and many inspiring activiites that are already taking place.

Register your School or Organisation now and you may be eligible for funding to help you with your proposed activitiy.

Send us your Activity Proposal Form which can be downloaded from the homepage on www.feastnet.net - we will contact you after we have received it. More information is available on our monthly regional e-news which once you are registered here you will receive automatically.
