The objective of the game is to gain an understanding of the principles of the Balance of Good Health and fill the plate in the fastest time possible with all children running into the food group represented by the food card. The aim is to emphasise the importance of exercise and a healthy balanced diet, bringing into their minds at a young age the importance of eating at least five portions of fruit and vegetables per day. The children learn about the health aspects and necessary requirements of starch-based foods, fruit and vegetables, dairy foods, sugar and fats.
