Bishop Burton College is one of the finest land-based colleges in the country. It has the UK's only Centre of Vocational Excellence for Agriculture and also has a Centre of Vocational Excellence in Equine.
The College's mission is to ensure high quality learning and skills development in a supportive and stimulating rural environment. A substantial building programme is underway to provide learners with a world class learning environment of which we can be truly proud.
The College's agricultural facilities include a fully commercial 356 hectare farm, 160 cow dairy unit, a large pig unit, beef and sheep enterprises and extensive arable production including cereals, combinable break crops, potatoes and other cropping.
Bishop Burton College nestles in a beautiful parkland setting within the Yorkshire Wolds, a few miles from the historic town of Beverley. We have a long tradition of working with schools, providing farm visits, workshops, vocational courses, open days, taster days and outreach services - if you can't come to us, we will come to you!
