Free to download from the Teaching Trees website. The resources are intended to help teachers develop outdoor, 'hands on' activities during woodland visits. However, many of the activities will benefit from classroom discussion prior to a visit, or follow up work on returning to school. Woodlands provide opportunities to meet the requirements of programmes of study across the curriculum. Beyond the obvious links with science and the environment, a day visit to a woodland can contribute to the curriculum in Mathematics, English, PHSE, PE, Geography, History and Art.
