November 19th 2007, 10.00am–3.00pm, Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
Come and learn how to tell stories from a professional storyteller.
The day will be run by Marion Oughton, a professional storyteller with many years of experience working with both school groups and other audiences. She will introduce us to the role storytelling can play in school visits.
The morning will be a chance to develop confidence about storytelling. We will look at how stories can be used in different settings and how they can be created with young people who visit farms and countryside locations. For those who are interested in using professional storytellers, ideas for contacts will be supplied.
This seminar is being held at Lower Smite Farm, the headquarters of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, and this will be an opportunity to experience a most interesting site which offers visits to schools.
